Clara Campoamor.

Clara Campoamor was born in Madrid, Spain in 1888. Her full name is Clara Campoamor Rodriguez.

First, before Clara Campoamor became famous, she was a teacher, secretary of a newspaper and a typist.
Then,  the politician and feminist was best known for her advocacy for women’s rights and suffrage during the writing of the Spanish constitution of 1931.
Finally,  she died in 1972 when she was 84.

Karl Benz

Karl Benz was born in 1844 in Karlsruhe, Germany and died in 1929. 

Benz was a German mechanical engineer who created the world’s first practical automobile powered by an internal combustion engine, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen, in 1885. 

His father died when he was two, leaving the family with low income, but his mother ensured he received a strong education.

In 1883, he founded Benz & Company in Mannheim to produce industrial engines.

Developed the first automobile, which featured a four-stroke engine, electric ignition, and differential gears. It was patented on January 29, 1886.

His wife, Bertha, played a crucial role in the success by providing financial support and conducting the first long-distance automobile trip in 1888, proving its practicality.

In 1926, his company merged with Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft, forming the foundation of modern Mercedes-Benz automobiles.

Passed away on April 4, 1929, in Ladenburg.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant was an American baskeball player who played twenty seasons in the NBA, all of them in Los Angeles Lakers, from 1996 to 2016. He was the son of former NBA player, Joe Bryant.
First, he was born on August 23, 1978 in Fidadelfia , Pennsylvania, United States. He started playing basketball when he was 3.

  Then, he was married to Vanesa Laine Bryant and they had 4 children :Gianna, Natalia, Bianca, Bella and Capri Bryant. Kobe Bryant earned five NBA rings and was also ranked 18th in the All-Star during his 20 year career.

Finally, on January 26 , 2020 , the NBA lost one of its biggest basketball  stars  at 41 with a lot of  life and a career ahead. He died in a helicopter crash with his daughter Natalia Bryant on January26 , 2020, in Calabasas, California, United States .   He always will be one of  the greatest legends.

Neil Armstrong

(1930-2012)
Neil Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, on August 5th, 1930.
First, Armstrong learnt how to fly at the  Grassy Wapakoneta aircraft  base (Blume Highschool).
Then, he began studying aeronautical engineering at Purdue University.
After that, Armstrong’s work offer from the NASA was received on January 26th of 1949, requiring him to take part in flight training classes in Florida.
After passing the medical examination, he became astronaut on February 24th 1949.
Later, he was selected for the Project Mercury,run by NASA.
He flew to the moon in 1969 with Apolo 11.

 After all that, he taught Aeronautical Engineering at the University.

 Finally, he died in 2012.

Biography of Walt Disney

Walt Disney was an American film and television producer and showman, famous as a cartoon movie pioneer and creator of Disneyland. Walter Elias “Walt” Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Hermosa, Illinois.

 First, he and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the world’s best-known film producers.

 Disney was an innovative animator and, later, he created the cartoon character Mickey Mouse.

 After that, he won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and, finally, he was the founder of Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks.

First, Jennifer Aniston went to education at La Guardia High. There, she learned about music, art and performing arts.

 

Then, she became an actress, producer and business woman. Her first film was made in 1988, it was a comic science fiction called Mac and Me. In the movie she was a dancer at McDonald´s. She started acting in 1994 in the very popular TV series called Friends.

 Later, she won worldwide recognition as Rachel Green in the very popular TV series Friends. She also got a Golden globe award. 

After that, she became one of the most paid actors in television, earning one million dollars for each episode.

Julia Roberts    Born: 28th October 1967, in Smyrna, Georgia.

 When she was ten years old, her father died. Julia Roberts attended Fitzhugh Elementary School and then Campbell High School, both of them in Smyrna. 

First, she always wanted to be a veterinarian, but she ended up studying journalism. She moved to New York and began her acting career in 1987 with a small role in Firehouse, in which she was not even credited. 

Then, after participating in numerous projects that did not have much impact, Julia Roberts had her first opportunity with the character of Daisy Arujo in the comedy Mystic Pizza (1988), directed by Donald Petrie. 

After this opportunity, her first big role would come with Steel Magnolias (1989), a film in which she shared the poster with actresses such as Sally Field or Shirley MacLaine, giving her first Golden Globe for best supporting actress and her first nomination to the Oscar in the category of Best Supporting Actress.

 Later, she performed a modern fairy tale in the highly enjoyable film Pretty Woman.

 First, Sienna Miller moved to London with her family when she has 18 years old.

 Then, she relocated to New York City and enrolled in a three-month course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. 

Afther that, Miller’s screen debut came in the romantic comedy South Kensington (2001), opposite Rupert Everett and Elle McPherson. In 2002, she had supporting roles in High Speed and its follow-up The Ride, and guest-starred in The American Embassy and Bedtime. She had a regular role as the combative yet caring flatmate of an NYPD detective in the television drama series Keen Eddie (2003), it was Miller's first exposure to American audiences.

 Later, with roles in two commercial films and a higher public profile due to her relationship with actor Jude Law, Siena starred The crime thriller Layer Cake (2004).

First, Jennifer began appearing in films in the late 1980’s and quickly became one of the highest-paid Latina actresses in the history of Hollywood. 

Then, she began appearing in big movies such as: 

The Wedding Planner (2001), her successful first attempt at romantic comedy, Out of Sight, Maid in Manhattan, Shall We Dance?, Hustlers or Marry Me. Some of her films are based on a true story and she is also a producer. 

Jennifer, who considers herself a dancer first than a singer or an actress, played, later, a great role as Paulina, a dance teacher, in the movie “Shall we dance? The truth is she hears the music very well and is quite expressive in her movements.

Meryl Streep

Mary Louise Streep was born on June 22, 1949, in Summit, New Jersey. She has two younger brothers, Harry William Streep III and Dana David Streep, both actors. Her father was of German and Swiss descent. 

She has received numerous accolades throughout her career spanning over four decades, including a record of 21 Academy Award nominations, winning three, and a record of 32 Golden Globe Award nominations, winning eight.   

Streep's first feature film role came opposite Jane Fonda in the 1977 film Julia, in which she had a small role during a flashback sequence. Most of her scenes were edited out, but the brief time on screen horrified the actress:

“I had a bad wig and they took the words from the scene I shot with Jane and put them in my mouth in a different scene. I thought, I've made a terrible mistake, no more movies. I hate this business”. However, eventually, she has become one of the best actresses in films history, being the main character in unforgettable movies such as Kramer vs Kramer, The Hunter, Out of Africa, Devil Wears Prada or Mamma Mia!
